Create The Future You Really Want
Your family has always been important to you and either through circumstances or choice you became the home maker for the family.
Your family has always been important to you and either through circumstances or choice you became the home maker for the family. You were happy to do it because it aligned with your values and you wanted to be there for your children and maybe even your parents as they got older.
But now your children are carving out their own lives, they don’t need you as much as they used to (apart from the bank of mum and dad). With your focus on family for so long; you’re now starting to wonder what life holds in store for you.
Possibly you went to university, got the degree and had the good start in your career. Or maybe you went straight into work from school.
But whatever your background and reasons for your decision to be the home maker you know there’s more inside you than you currently show to the world and you want to be able to release that potential and feel like you’re living a useful and productive life.
But it can feel very daunting to get back into the workplace when you’ve been out of it for so long.
How do you summon up the confidence? How do you make the best decision, the right decision for you, and most importantly for the family you’ve created, your loved ones?
You had a vision and took the risk to set up your business. You’ve put everything into it, quite possibly risking everything to get your dream off the ground. Possibly you’ve had a degree of success, but maybe not quite as much as you’d hoped for and you now want to drive forward and make things happen.
Perhaps you’ve had a bumpy ride, maybe a couple of failures along the way and life is feeling very tough and that everything is a battle. One thing’s for sure; the future looks particularly challenging.
With the pace of change we now all live with, driven by the great leaps in technology, it’s quite likely you are wondering what the heck your business will look like in 2, 5 or 10 years’ time; and whether it’s even going to be possible to carry on the way you have been.
Innovation and renewal are essential for business success. Not knowing how to start the process and the worries about making changes are the main things that stops most business owners from making progress.
The only question is: How do you make the best decision, the right decision for you, and for your business, clients, suppliers and most importantly your loved ones?
You’ve probably been working very hard for about the last twenty years building your career, establishing yourself in your chosen profession and building a network of connections. Maybe in that time you were married and had children.
You’ve worked hard to create the life you wanted for yourself, your partner and your children, but time has flown by and now you’re thinking about the next stage of life. Perhaps you’ve reached a level in your career and for some reason it stopped there and now you’re thinking “What next?”
Maybe you’ve achieved what you wanted to and now is the right time to move on. Another reality might be the prospect of redundancy as your industry undergoes yet more upheaval brought on by the technological revolution.
Possibly you’ve had that “amazing” idea and now you want to breakout of the world of employment to make it happen. There are many possible reasons why you have reached this decision point, but it doesn’t change the fact that you still have another 10-25 years of working life ahead of you and now it is important to make sure you make the best of those years.
The only question is: How do you make the best decision, the right decision for you, and for your loved ones?
Nigel Herring, Registered Manager - As the registered manager of a home care agency the pressures of providing home care staff to clients can be very intense and I was starting to have symptoms of severe stress. Since I started working with Dene he has helped me to think differently about myself and my work. The job is now even more pressurised because we have grown significantly but I now handle it in such a way that my stress has reduced significantly.
Nicoleta Stoian, Regional Business Manager - Using his abilities, Dene helped me to discover explanations and solutions for the concerns which troubled me since very long time. Despite my volcanic personality, his calm and well-structured way of leading our coaching sessions did not generate conflicts, but brought me to a more balanced approach to my professional and private life.
